Written October 2012
Violin, I couldn’t
live
without your beautiful sound,
your beautiful wooden
glaze begs
me to
to strum or to
bow, with the
bow string abiding.
Unyielding
I play
Everything I know how to.
I play
Anything
And everything.
I know that I
Belong
Here.
We think and imagine
Together
And together can to anything;
Climb any mountain
Any mountain
Or dive beneath any ocean.
And for me
This
Is heaven.
It’s clear to me
There is nothing
I would rather be doing
Than playing my beautiful violin
Following the music written
Right here.
You are my
Friend;
The best.
My violin
You are my escape.
