MOUNTAIN
A natural tower of white and blue, the mountain looms over the lush, green valley, as though protecting it from some unseen evil. Although in the distance, its size is still remarkable as it lounges among the few pancakish excuses for clouds in the bright sky, which hover over the lazy volcano like mountain groupies. Explosive metal boxes scurry through the valley in the shadow of the geological gem, their occupants mere ants under its watchful gaze. These seeming insects rush by, always managing to trick themselves into believing in their own importance and that of their petty tasks as they swarm about their little blue particle of dust in the midst of void. Even the mighty and proud mountain, standing tall in its kingdom, is merely a small fish in an even smaller pond, and is more than just dwarfed by the vast emptiness in which it clings to a single grain of sand, hurling aimlessly through the unfathomable nothingness.

RAINFOREST
Bright moss hangs from the leaning evergreen trees, dense right up to the rushing baby-blue water of the river. The moss covers some of them completely, becoming indiscernible from the taller vegetation as it lives upon it in harmony. This messy yet relaxing mix of a thousand shades of green and blue and grey race past the window in a flurry, barely allowing me time to appreciate the astounding beauty of the rainforest.
I'm jostled about as the truck bumbles along the winding road, weaving evasively through the ancient forest with the canopy looming overhead. The trees are dappling the two-lane highway with spotty shadows interspersed with light that manages to break through the unyielding roof of leaves.

WINDING ROAD
The winding, two-lane road twists its way to the top, bordered by walls of rocks and trees. Hills surround the road; hills of green, reaching hopefully toward the sky and scraping the fog that slips through them and intertwines its white fingers into the deep, rich color of the trees. Near the top of some of these, as they touch the sky, are patches of grass interspersed with those of snow. The road weaves through, up and around, finally coming to rest at the peak of the tallest hill.

WET DAY
Wet was the day when we set out, with the sky pouring itself upon us and the clouds hanging low atop the plentiful trees.

SUN
Hot sunbeams sear themselves upon our sensitive skin as we make our way along the busy main street.

SILKEN WORDS
The silken words weave themselves together like threads of an enchanted tapestry, twisting and intertwining in and out and around.
